A Driven Collective

The little 500 is the largest intramural event in the United States of America. Each year 25,000 students gather to watch 33 student bike teams sprint 200 laps around a 1⁄4 mile race track in Bloomington Indiana. As students and coaches train year-round without professional facilities, equipment, scholarship, or salary one thing is for certain; the drive behind every participant is clear. In this short documentary, we aim to explore the passion of one team, the Cutters. As they train and forge on we showcase the grit and dedication it takes to reach a largely collective goal.
