Blueline partnered with Dr. Viviana Martinez-Bianchi of Duke Family Medicine to produce a series addressing Unconscious Bias in healthcare. The project aimed to educate first-year medical students through short documentaries or 'profiles' depicting patients' daily lives before and after doctor visits, followed by consultation videos. These were used in class to spark discussions on bias and environmental influences on diagnoses. We meticulously crafted scripts and cast individuals familiar with the project's goals, emphasizing a documentary style with minimal lighting, natural camera movements, and ambient music for authenticity and impartiality.
